Dr. Gregory M. Houck, owner and founder of Estero Dermatology & Skin Surgery Center, is a Board Certified Dermatologist dedicated to providing each patient with the finest and most complete dermatologic care available in Southwest Florida.
After receiving a Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida, Dr. Houck obtained his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Houck’s postgraduate training took place at Sun Coast Hospital in Largo, Florida, where he was a resident in the Family Practice and Dermatology programs and attained the status of Co-Chief Resident in Dermatology. Since then, he has published papers in several respected medical journals and has presented lectures at numerous meetings.
Alison Kroupa Lees is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who is committed to offering every patient the highest standard of care in dermatology in Southwest Florida. She works collaboratively with Dr. Houck caring for patients with compassion and commitment to each individual's skin care needs and goals.
Alison graduated with a Bachelor's degree from both Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida and from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida. She has nursing experience from the George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC, Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC, and locally from the Lee Memorial Health System. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
